First time poster, long time fan! 😊 I do love the app! Just like most things that involve self-care, I have a hard time with distractions while listening to some of the meditations. I'm trying to put small doses of self care in my daily routine, but I feel I'm only successful once or twice a week. Keep in mind that any one of my three kids will interrupt/distract if I am focusing on what's good for me. What routines have worked for any of you?

Also... shorter guided meditations are in the way 5-7 minutes when you reaaly just need a quick reset! Some of the shorter meditations already in the app are the Progressive Muscle Relaxation and Inner Resources, both are great to just help you drop in🧡

I have also found that getting up early before everyone helps with less distraction! I, too, have several otpions to draw from for my morning routine and this helps me stay consitent in doing something everyday without feeling the pressure of having to do ALL of the things!

Thanks Stacy! I've managed to journal two days in a row this week which is a bigger deal than it sounds. I feel the need for more practice!

When I’m pressed for time and want to do a more abbreviated practice my go-to is one of the Pranayamas. My favorite is Nadi Shodhana/alternate nostril breathing. It would be nice to have some guided meditations that are shorter for when we’re in a hurry but still want to ground.

I have found routine can vary daily, which I know sounds like an oxymoron! I have several practices as part of my routine but some days I am only able to do one or two of the practices. If kids are up it might be good to include them in an asana practice with you or maybe they can sit with in a breathing exercise for 1 or 2 minutes. Give yourself grace to modify if needed. Much Love, Stacy
